Protests Spread in France as Barricades are Set Up in the Streets

The May events of 1968 became known as the time of "les barricades" as the protests and riots swept through Paris and other major cities of France.   On May 10th, 1968 students and radicals set up barricades in the Latin Quarter of Paris.
