Protests and Riots Erupt in Milan

On June 7th, 1968 in Milan, Italy three thousand extreme left students of the Milan University tried to boycott the release of the Corriere della sera, the most influent Italian newspaper, which was very unfriendly to the protest movements. A night of true “urban guerrilla” unrest occurred, involving the whole town, including barricades, fires, fights with the police, and the arrest of eleven students.
