The anti-nuclear movement was galvanized in Denmark, (which had sovereignty over the area of Thule, Greenland), when a United States B-52 crashed there on 21st, January, 1968.
This incident is mentioned in histories of European protests and the anti-draft movement in Denmark, as well as the underground music scene.
