Occupation of the President's Office at Columbia University

The story behind an iconic image of the Columbia Protests featured 21 year-old student, David Shapiro, who was near graduation on a poetry fellowship.  The photographer was claimed to be Tom Hurwitz, using the camera of a free-lance photographer that had been handed through the open window.
